Our Worship
Our worship services follow the Book of Common Prayer and other authorized liturgical resources of the Episcopal Church. Sunday Mornings we worship at 9am and 11am. Each service has the same readings, prayers, sermon, and Holy Communion. The main difference between the two is the music style. Visit our Kids Ministry page for details for kids during and in-between services.
Special services like baptisms, weddings, and funerals are some of the wonderful ways Grace Church seeks to support and celebrate the growth in faith and sacramental moments in life.

Special Services

Baptism is the first sacrament of the Christian life. It is a commitment of faith in Christ and a promise to live out the ways of Jesus in our lives. Baptisms are typically done during a Sunday morning service. The Baptismal Covenant from the Book of Common Prayer outlines the life we seek to live “with God’s help.” Once baptized, a person is encouraged to receive Holy Communion regularly, which is the spiritual food that sustains us for the baptized life.
An adult baptismal candidate at Grace Church typically finishes our Foundations of Grace Course and meets with a clergy person for preparation. In the Episcopal Church, we baptize infants and children as well. We do so with an understanding that parents and the church will continue to teach and form the child to understand their baptism more and more as they grow up. Every baptismal candidate needs two baptized sponsors (parents, godparents, or friends) to present them, and to turn in a Baptism Intent form. Kids will also do baptismal preparation with our Children's Minister.
Sunday
9am Worship
This service draws heavily on hymns from the 1982 Hymnal, with a few spirituals and contemporary pieces blended in. Music is usually led by piano and a vocal ensemble, and guest instrumentalists throughout the year.
Sunday
11am Worship
This service uses contemporary music, hymns, and originals by our Music Minister, Kyle Gossett. You won’t find all our songs on Christian radio, because most of our favorites are liturgically minded and not “pop” Christian. Our band, vocalists, and guest instrumentalists do an incredible job being rooted in tradition, yet a fresh expression of it.
