Helen, a native Oklahoman, was ordained a deacon in the Episcopal Church in 1999. She is passionate about children and the elderly. She loves that Grace Church is inter-generational - where grandparents and grandchildren can come together and share in the rich traditions of the church. Needless to say, her spare time is most joyfully spent with her own grandchildren. With her two sons living close, Helen gets to see them often. Working as a secretary at Mercy Hospital, Helen loves having opportunities to be of service to others. She has a masters degree in Pastoral Ministry. After retiring as a deacon in January 2023, Helen remains an active part of our community at Grace Church.
